Instead of using too many colors at once, the space features colorless black, grey and white, capturing the simple essence of life. On the main wall, the special paints in grey shades convey a simple and rustic atmosphere with hand-brushed patterns. The bursting veins in the charcoal grey along with stone patterns on the floor embody strength, and the marble countertop adds a personal touch, establishing a grey realm. Too much of one color can create a flat, boring look, while light-reflective materials, such as glass, and metal pieces can offset the oppressiveness brought by the dark tones.

Upon opening the main door, the continuous storage cabinets are hollowed in the middle to eliminate the oppressive feeling of volumes, and the light source is hidden in the lower level to contribute to a sense of warmth and comfort, making the room feel cozy and welcoming. A display cabinet is attached to the main wall, breaking the limitations of the original wall. With the same material, the cabinet surface extends the width of the main wall. The glass boxes are embedded in the wall, connecting the realms of the real and the virtual. The light grey wall behind the sofa complements the overall tone, while the bright light emitted from the glass display cabinet softens the cold grey frame and provides the space with a sense of warmth.

The kitchen island bar creates a circular walking route to better direct traffic and flow throughout the public and private areas. The white cabinet balances the monotony of the grey tones. Along with the light from the large windows, it oozes a stable dining atmosphere. The tranquil atmosphere flows into the bedroom, where the humanistic hand-trowel textures contrast with the delicate upholstered headboard, unfolding intricate nuances in the grey-themed space.
