The Langham Hong Kong Christmas Tree

NYGDESIGN created a christmas tree——The Tree of Warmth, Hope and Love, for The Langham Hong Kong, which is composed of dozens of balls of light. Inspired by the idea that "everyone has their own zodiac sign", NYGDESIGN hopes that this Christmas tree will bring good wishes and hope for the new year.



In this Christmas tree, the transparent ball of light corresponds to the ten ruling stars of the 12 zodiac signs, and the interior presents the details of the planet's orbit. Wrapped in a transparent ball of light is a golden sphere, which presents a relationship between guarding and being guarded with the transparent sphere. At the top of the tree is a shining star, which symbolizes hope and beauty.



In addition, NYGDESIGN has also designed a specific light-emitting device that will continuously flash the star when the mobile phone's flash is connected to the Christmas tree, symbolizing the fulfillment of wishes.



At the end of the project, the Christmas tree's ball of light will be transformed into a lamp for auction. All proceeds will be donated to the Hong Kong Women's Foundation to help women and young people at all stages in Hong Kong.
