2023 Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival

The floating flower city, our primary flower carpet, is a 16-meter-high castle offering a 360o view. This magnificent structure is crafted entirely from real flowers, with a design concentric on the ground. The layout and decoration feature over twenty species of flowers and grass, creating a stunning visual. The rainbow color scheme is a tribute to the town's reputation for happiness and the rainbow that often appears after rain in the mountain of Xinshe.The bubble water mist system adds to the dynamic mechanical design, visually allowing such a gigantic masterpiece of craftmanship to float in the air. When the presentation begins on the hour, a propeller and a flying boat on the castle's roof contribute to the city's take-off. The surrounding area is filled with bubbles of happiness, adding to the spectacle of the Flower City.



To fuse with a craftsman spirit and to carry out sustainable care.

One hundred elders, an average age of 80, from the local long-term care units were invited to work with four talented local artisans to create the exhibition.For the very first time, we took a sustainable spirit as the core and combined beautifying the community. We had to create long-term green care jointly with local organizations. We had to create employment opportunities. Hiring local flower farmers and young people, up to 792people, triggers the economic effectiveness of nearby agriculture and tourism. We had to work together to create public welfare and fabricate local benefits. We also had to form positive circulation.
