Located in Taichung, the new 83 sqm house has a low beam that is difficult to hide. In the case of defects, the symmetrical beam body is used to connect the living room and the bedroom, depicting the continuous spatial axis, and supplemented by light belts to guide the moving line and vision, creating a shining Avenue of Stars. It not only effectively reverses disadvantages, but also embodies modern aesthetics full of order and harmony.

The house owner couple prefer a spacious and open living, and have a hobby of wine tasting and watching movies. Therefore, the focus is on enlarging the space, transforming the beam that obstructs vision into a symmetrical light band, and becoming a link in modifying the space. The owner's favorite marble is fully used in the living room’s wall, through splicing the different materials of stone, wood and gray plate, to add a rich level of movement in the light luxurious and fashion charm. At the same time, it is bold to replace the table legs in the dining room with the red wine cabinet, and this interesting design not only realizes the integrity of the function, but also meets the elegant taste of life.

The design concept is to establish the main axis of the space by the symmetrical beam, connecting the space through extending the light belt and the grid from the top to the facade cabinet and corridor, and creating a continuous visual effect.

The dark floating cabinet in the living room extends to the entryway, pulling out the arc shape to balance the prominent grille cabinet, and there also retains a depth of 15cm, which can be used as a simple shoe chair.
