Filinvest City stands as a pioneering example of sustainable urban living holding certfications from the US Green Building Council and Philippine Green Building Council. Its design integrates nature and urbanity through a network of parks that promote community, wellness, and environmental stewardship.
At the core of Filinvest City’s green masterplan is its interconnected park system, consisting of six distinct parks that emphasize walkability and open public spaces. These parks foster social interaction, leisure, and green mobility, encouraging residents and visitors to gather, connect, and enjoy the outdoors.
Central Park, the largest of the parks, features two areas: the Great Lawn, a venue for community events, and the Botanical Garden, which showcases native plants and trees. In the heart of the garden stands “The Tree,” an architectural feature that provides shade and functions as a stage for gatherings. Central Park also houses The Book Stop Project, an innovative open library concept by WTA Design Studio, redefining traditional libraries by inviting the community to share books.
Spectrum Linear Park, a kilometer-long green spine, stretches across the city, linking its northern and southern ends. The park’s paved walkways, outdoor sculptures, and seating areas create a serene environment for pedestrians and cyclists, enhancing connectivity throughout Filinvest City.
At the southern tip lies Creekside Park, a new development to be completed by 2025. It will introduce leisure areas and retail spaces along a scenic river walk, further enriching the city’s green offerings.
Creekside Park leads to River Park and the Water Garden near Festival Mall, where nature and retail spaces blend. These parks integrate the city’s natural water systems with sustainable infrastructure, including dams and weirs to manage stormwater, and serve as habitats for local wildlife. River Park is also home to the internationally acclaimed Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel.
Filinvest City’s parks are central to its vision of an environmentally responsible, connected, and livable urban environment, making it a model for modern sustainable development.
