About The Entry

The task at hand is to plan and design the spatial layout for the 2023 Taoyuan International ACG Fair, which comes with the theme of "Anime and Comic that Spins the World" by the design team. Their primary objective is to showcase Taiwan's status as the global hub for animation and comics. The team has intentionally chosen to feature the genres of "youngster's passion" and "social reality" to express the public's aspirations for their future and their discontent with society. Visitors will be inspired and motivated by the diverse concepts and ideas presented through the exhibition.

The global comic book industry has experienced rapid growth, drawing attention worldwide and becoming a crucial part of the entertainment sector. What makes comics unique is their ability to be created with just pen and paper, allowing for limitless imagination without modern technology and objects being a limiting factor. Comics also serve as the foundational generator for the ACG industry, driving the entertainment sector's growth. This exhibition will feature top works and experts in the ACG industry, showcasing Taiwan's immense value in the global animation and comics industry and promoting the local animation and comics industry's development through a virtuous cycle. With this, the future vision of animation and comics taking the world by storm is just around the corner.

The team assigned to the project has successfully revolutionized the way comics and animations are presented to the public. Instead of traditional books, they have opted for electronic panels that showcase the latest technology and help reduce paper waste. To provide a more immersive experience, they have incorporated Virtual Reality (VR) technology that allows visitors to fully engage with the exhibits.

Upon entering the exhibition area, guests will be welcomed by a mesmerizing display showcasing the cutting-edge Vtuber's face capture equipment. This state-of-the-art technology is utilized to produce lifelike anime and comic scenes, which have been restored with meticulous attention to detail by the team. The exhibition space boasts an immersive and authentic atmosphere, which seamlessly blends technology and real-life experiences to create an unforgettable experience for visitors.
