At the initial stage, designer Tami explored how to integrate the concept of “liveness” into the spatial architecture, a core characteristic of live performance introduced by Philip Auslander in Liveness: Performance in a Mediatized Culture, emphasizing its irreplaceable immediacy and uniqueness.
We believe that stage should not merely serve as a backdrop, but also transform the space into a dynamic field that emotionally resonates with the audience. The main performance area is planned on the extended stage to bring back the most authentic form of musical performance. Breaking boundaries between performers and spectators, emphasizing immediacy and sense of reality, and turning the extended stage into a bridge connecting the artist and the audience, are echoing with the concerts’s theme “Wherever we are together is the best place.” The floor of the extended stage consists of five independently elevatable lighting systems. These modular designs can be flexibly reconfigured based on the atmospheric needs, infusing dynamic visual rhythm and spatial layers. Above the far end of the extended stage, a laser-engraved levitating piano, hidden within a Music Box, symbolizes the musical soul of the "Music Man." On this thoroughly crafted stage, Leehom uses music as a medium to arrive at “The Best Place" together with the audience, where they receive the purest gift of all.
Additionally, the designer incorporated a rotating "portal" that rises from the ground. This installation denotes temporal-spatial transition, and moreover transforms the environment into a time-carrying machine. On one side of the portal, the glorious past moments of Leehom with his fans is reflected; the other side points toward a hopeful new chapter they will step into together. This portal is more than a physical passage—it turns the stage into a narrative vessel that transcends time, bearing witness to the eternal legend co-created by art and its audience.
The entire performance space is ingeniously embedded with hidden framing signs,「」, waiting to be discovered. These details are interactive codes that transform the stage into a sensory journey full of exploration and surprise. Each uncovered surprise becomes a moment of emotional resonance and an eternal memory.
