About The Entry

To increase children's learning opportunities outside of school, the Department of Cultural Affairs, Taoyuan regularly organizes an annual art festival with children as the main characters. This year, with the theme of "Let's see each other's smiles this summer," a series of imaginative, creative, and highly interactive activities are planned in the form of music, theater, dance, and circus. Children can enter the world of art, embrace the world through their senses, feel the stories, and have a different summer art experience.

The event was held for one month and included a series of activities such as indoor theater, outdoor-themed activities in Taoyuan's North and South Districts, tours in 13 districts, and an exhibition in Taoyuan's Japanese-style dormitory. The exciting programs, bazaars, workshops, exhibitions, and other diversified arts and cultural experiences are realized in all corners of Taoyuan. The performances combined educational, social, and environmental issues to create a "Children's Art Month" that brings everyone closer to the performing arts and inspires a sense of aesthetics.
