The project perfectly interprets cultural connotation of ancient academy via traditional Chinese-style landscape. With respect of Chinese aesthetics, the landscape design seeks for the ritual sequence of space in ancient China, presenting the visitors with a unique landscape painting. To cater for the idea of creating elegant residence of ancient literati, it also takes inspiration from six arts of Junzi (man of virtue) and blends traditional cultural characteristics with the courtyard design. By skillful arrangement of the rocks and continuing wild interest to the artificial landscape structures, the courtyard stays harmonious with the architecture in the picture. People seem like pleasantly wandering in the landscape picture.
