PRAESIDIUM: SHADOWS IN THE WIND (BOOK ONE)

The book cover design is done as oil on palette knife - and the inspiration comes from the story which speaks of a shapeshifter, and the turbulence of the energy vortexes that exist within the earth. Readers have connected with this cover, stating it was intriguing, and it was representative of the urban fantasy genre but "different; not a computer image or regular cover design".

The title of book one is PRAESIDIUM which means PROTECTION referencing the character journeys in the first book.



SYNOPSIS OF BOOK ONE:



Kathryn Bek gets the chance of a lifetime: a job offer right out of college, and in New York City, where adventure lies around every corner. Believing she is recruited for her marketing prowess, she is excited by the prospect of her new job in the intelligence sector; but all is not what it seems.
