GEMDALE TIMELESS ART DONGGUAN

The project is located in Changping, a key economic area in Dongguan City, with complete surrounding facilities, abundant educational resources, and convenient transportation.

Design Philosophy:

Extracting the ceremonial and noble atmosphere of classical architectural colonnades, incorporating traditional spatial scales and rituals, and incorporating the "horse racing culture" (horse racing is not only a pursuit of sports but also an implantation of culture and social circles), the cultural essence is extracted, evolved, and reshaped to build architecture with regional cultural characteristics. This is not only a tribute to local culture but also a gift to the cultural output of Changping.

Simplifying classical elements, carrying on the classic arch symbol, symmetrically arranging large-scale "starlit" canopies, exuding a sense of luxury upon entering.

The ceiling of the gallery is adorned with patterns of the eight planets, made of perforated aluminum panels, blending and reflecting with light and shadows, as if walking in the universe. It allows one to experience the comfort and romance of life while strolling through this long corridor.

The skylight dome design in the center of the Ming Shi Hall combines traditional elegance with modern art, waiting along the path home, expressing the elites' infinite yearning for knowledge and culture, and showcasing their eternal spirit of progress.

Material Details:

The facade uses dark colors as the main tone, with light colors interspersed, forming a combination of solid and void and enhancing the building's memorable nodes through node treatment. The facade mainly employs three modern and concise materials: simulated stone aluminum veneer, brushed stainless steel plate, and tempered glass. It restores the essence of neoclassicism, with carefully designed metal grilles that follow the principles and rules of Ming Shi architecture, blending nostalgia and innovative spirit, merging classical and modern elements into one. It creates a unique and humanized aesthetic space.
