The home is designed for the dog to live alongside humans. For homeowners, an ideal pet-friendly home is built with simple concepts and warm tones. Therefore, the open layout connects the living room, dining room and study room in the public area, promoting communication and interaction among each other, and at the same time, maximizing the amount of light and offering ventilation to ensure a comfortable and odorless interior. In the main view, the continuous design pairing with the hidden door can prevent the space from being fragmented. A transparent and soothing space comes to life.
When entering the space, gray floor tiles create a mud room at the entryway. The floating shoe bench and cabinet reduce the compression of the volumes. Meanwhile, the extensive white color soothes the minds and immediately brings peace to homeowners when they come home. The pegboard on the wall is excellent for corralling accessories and also makes a design statement. The vivid and colorful accessories give the clean entryway a fun touch.
The color palette of tiles changes in the living room. Oatmeal color and shades of gray reveal the main wall. Curved edges at the junction of different materials soften the rigidity. The kitchen is located in the middle of the space. The sliding glass door provides a visual extension of the space and prevents grease and smoke from escaping. Being transparent, the glass door separates spaces and facilitates a smooth flow between them.
The slightly elevated flooring delineates the study room. A couch is placed at the window, making it a perfect spot for the homeowners to enjoy the view and unwind. The framed ceiling draws the eye upward with moisture-resistant and sound-absorbing Mexin boards as decorations. The natural material echoes the outdoor greenery. Its rustic natural texture adds a sense of harmony to the clean-cut frame.
