This project is expected to operate for a duration of ten years, with future delivery for sustainable community use. In addition to freeing up pedestrian areas, the developer also plans to strategically incorporate green belts to interconnect street layouts and adjust the balance between nature and civilization. To recreate the winding and meandering visual imagery of classical gardens, we divide the space into multiple volumes, layering them in an overlapping manner. Even in areas with voids showcasing the scale, we deliberately shift angles to avoid piercing the vertical axis, abandoning point-to-point linear logic to let poetic aesthetics replace efficiency. Intersecting staircases and extending platforms delineate different activities, while tunnel-like corridors and partially separated meeting rooms provide relatively tranquil spaces for discussions and other functions.
In terms of materials, the texture of the stones symbolizes rugged mountains, while the colors evoke shades of blue, green, and emerald, breaking away from the conventional association with flowers, leaves, and rivers in nature. We adopt an abstract approach that still retains the sense of natural beauty. The interplay of gray, white, and various shades of green complements the overall color scheme, echoing the winding green spaces outdoors amidst the gaps between street and building structures.
The core of this design lies in providing flexibility for user interactions even within a fixed and static architectural structure. Multiple pathways allow people to appreciate and explore the space from different positions and heights, adding to the joy of experiencing the garden ambiance repeatedly.
