As the supply of housing in Hong Kong is extremely tight. Many people are unable to afford the expensive rent. Nowadays, there are more than 90,000 subdivided flats, and more than 280,000 people living in subdivided flats in Hong Kong.

The average per capita living area is only about 5.7 square meters. Family members compete for space every day, such as toilets, passages, beds, tables and chairs, etc., resulting in emotions such as irritability, anger, and complaints. Disputes and even violence occurred.

The space in the subdivided room is small and the functions are chaotic. It is necessary to cook and store food in the toilet, watch TV, do homework and eat in bed, and even complain about eating in front of the toilet, which makes the children in the subdivided room behave withdrawn, taciturn, and have low self-esteem. It is even more detrimental to children's learning, social and physical and mental growth.

Therefore, this project replans the space, redistributes the functional spaces of study, eating, living and sleeping, and makes multi-functional and scalable furniture, using every inch of precious space in the subdivided house to improve the living environment. Everyone deserves to be respected and live with dignity.
