Krasnyk

The building is located in the Krasnyk village: on the precipice of Ukrainian Carpathians with breathtaking mountain views. The main goals we bore in mind were to create the most cozy place possible for the rest from the bothersome city rush, not losing the comfort and the benefits that city life presupposes. What is more, we intended to combine the above mentioned advantageous features with the local flavor.



We designed the cottage in traditions of house of the Ukrainian Hutsul ethnic group, harmoniously fitting into the local style. During the project, we have researched the origins of local architecture, Hutsul customs and the culture of the region. That is why the cottage looks like it already was in the village a hundred years ago.
