张家港高新区总体城市设计及重点片区概念性规划设计

The goal of this design is to build a new high-speed railway hub in Jiangnan and a cultural and smart city with water charm. Create an industrial innovation highland, Jiangnan cultural landscape, and an ecological vitality new city with scientific and technological research and development, high-end manufacturing, and modern services as the main functions. Build Zhangjiagang into an emerging node in the Yangtze River Delta metropolitan area.



In terms of specific planning, this design focuses on four areas: low-carbon, digital intelligence, industry city integration, and showcasing culture.



Relying on natural water systems such as Sanzhangpu, Huamiaotang, and Sigan River, we aim to create a 12 kilometer oxygen friendly ecological green environment. Through rich shoreline functional configuration and diversified shoreline forms shape a waterfront lifestyle experience. Metaphorizing the cultural heritage of "Go", the blue water system grid and green landscape grid in the form of a chessboard grid serve as the basic ecological grid of the entire new city. At the same time, these two levels of "blue green grid" are also important carriers of public activities for the citizens of the new city. Build the backbone framework of the new city and connect the main urban functional nodes with the east-west axis of "carrying forward the past and opening up the future" and the north-south axis of "industry city linkage". Based on the current characteristics of different areas in the region, we will create industrial and cultural tourism, implant scientific and technological innovation research and development bases, promote the transformation and upgrading of enterprises in the region, and cultivate a strong industrial ecosystem. We will fully introduce high-quality formats such as high standard education and medical care, commercial leisure, neighborhood services, cultural and sports, to ensure the quality of life in the new city. Using independent elevated roads as carriers, establish an efficient urban BRT system to prvide intelligent public transportation services both internally and externally.
