To reflect the unique ambiance of this location, BMW has integrated technology, culture, and art to forge a distinctive showroom style for its Minhang Road location. WDD's consistent exploration and practice in cultural and artistic spaces for over a decade has coincidentally aligned with BMW's philosophy, leading to the initiation of the project. We are all familiar with the BMW logo, which features blue and white stripes within a circle, symbolizing the blue sky, white clouds, and a perpetually rotating propeller. Moreover, the brand aspires to provide users with enhanced driving pleasure across vast expanses of time and space. WDD ultimately settled on the design theme "BMW Joy", aiming to embody the brand's spirit through technology and art. The goal is to create a space that celebrates the joy of touring in a location steeped in history, adjacent to iconic ancient royal gardens like the Yuanmingyuan and the Summer Palace, where ancient and modern cultures harmoniously converge. Modern technology installations in space: whether it is programmable LED lighting interactive devices, or metal materials that combine beauty and fun, combined with sculptures that combine modernity and art, they all bring richer and more layered experiences to the space; The ultimate pursuit of artistic senses - painting selection: Every painting in the space has its origin, carefully selected based on the characteristics of different functional areas, integrated with environmental materials, and endowed with traceable humanistic heritage in the space; Meticulous attention to detail - handcrafting: To ensure the intended outcome, designers engage directly in the project's completion, aiming for minimal discrepancies between the plan and the actual effect, and swiftly devising effective solutions for on-site special situations. Every item is meticulously positioned, with utensils and tea sets seemingly poised, awaiting the arrival of guests. In crafting the interior design, designer Lin Qiaoqin showcased her expert flower arranging skills, epitomizing the supreme art of floral design: "Though crafted by hands, it radiates as if bloomed by the heavens."
