Xinda Lingxitai

"Retracing the ancient charm of Chang'an, inheriting the cultural context of the university" - the urban pattern of Xi'an Xinda Lingxitai, located in Chang'an District, Xi'an Province, is similar to the cultural pattern of the local Guanzhong Academy during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Through the in-depth interpretation of Guanzhong Academy and the aesthetics of modern oriental life, the project design creates a five-fold oriental courtyard, tastes the gift of five books, and creates a quiet, simple and elegant space atmosphere.

The design connects the homecoming ceremony axis of the main and secondary entrances, regulates the five-fold etiquette sequence of "doors, halls, halls, gardens and households", and creates nine thematic landscape spaces, such as "scholarly door, four waters returning to the hall, curved water to drink, galaxy sinking dawn, forest shadows, snow paradise, forest garden, Zen guests, vibrant oxygen bar", and forms the project landscape structure with "one axis and five scenes".

We dance with literature and ink, extract the oriental elements of Guanzhong College, abstractly extract them with contemporary methods, and the progressive planning structure of the multi-storey courtyard to further create a college atmosphere.

Lingxitai's step by step, every design is carefully reflecting respect for traditional culture. At the same time, it integrates the spirit of the modern era and shows a unique modern oriental aesthetics.
