Childlike Adventure

In a peaceful residential area, a vibrant building appeals to everyone. Brilliant color displays with intricate curves reveal a soft and cozy character. The young children play heartily as much as possible in an expansive green field so that it features energetic and pleasant naivety. Those smiling faces signify the children’s great times and happiness in their memories, which cultivate their growth.

We managed various geometric shapes and streamlines to adapt to the preschool age’s curiosity. The flowing design languages contract with the regular construction and increase active interest in the space. Flashy green, yellow, blue, and red colors vividly create a childlike feel, and these decorations encourage young children to explore uncharted fields, enhancing their imagination and creativity.

The building is curated at the rear of the site, while a broad playground paved with artificial lawns is at the front. Besides, we complemented the rooftop with running tracks, a hillside climb, a seesaw, and a pavilion, skillfully setting a domain for children to play outdoor sports. In response to Taiwan's rainy climate, we created a puzzle game room on the third floor to provide multiple interior activities.

The corridor invites plenty of natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the project. Besides, the geometric-shaped windows on the classroom walls and doors introduce brilliant sunshine indoors and coordinate with refreshing color palettes, configuring a bright and comfortable learning venue.

We design an agreeable environment that incorporates smooth floor transitions, a large elevator, and barrier-free bathrooms to accommodate disabled people. In addition, we arranged the office and kitchen in a rounded-shaped space outside the classroom area on the first floor. It is a tranquil zone that allows the staff to work efficiently. Adjacent, a health care room facilitates the staff to care for ill children, and the independent space enhances a nice rest and prevents infection transmissions.

The open space on the ground floor facilitates flexible utilization for holding events from time to time. Meanwhile, the rooftop playground provides the children with versatile equipment, making them have fun as much as possible.
