The lighting design is inspired by the approach of a stage play, focusing on the elements of "void," "reality," "stillness," and "movement" to emphasize spatial dynamics. By combining the concepts of void and reality, stillness and movement, the lighting achieves a natural effect through variations in brightness, darkness, intensity, and dispersion, as well as through shifts in light and shadow, color tones, and other factors. These elements help convey changes in time and space, create atmospheric effects, and evoke emotions through the play of light and shadow.

“Void” refers to the use of lighting to accentuate characters and scenes in an exaggerated manner, creating a sense of narrative and storytelling. “Reality” pertains to achieving natural lighting effects. “Stillness” emphasizes the coordination of light and color, ensuring harmony. “Movement” focuses on dynamic changes in lighting, coordinating with music and the movement of characters, and maintaining control over the rhythm of the stage. By combining dynamic and static lighting—through leaps, pauses, slow movements, or even stillness—stage rhythm is managed. Variations in brightness and darkness, compositional contrasts, and color changes act as dramatic techniques to enhance the flow of the stage and the layered spatial effects. Furthermore, by contrasting light and color, the lighting colors integrate seamlessly with the performance’s content. The use of ARRI 24k spotlights creates a powerful interplay of light and shadow on the stage, enhancing visual depth and dramatic impact.
