Due to the variety of equipment and non-uniform data standards, tunnels often lack automated, standardized, and scientific maintenance technologies. This leads to incomplete and untimely daily inspections, inaccurate and insufficient fault diagnosis, unsystematic and incomplete inspection data systems, and untimely and inadequate emergency response to accidents.

This robot covers the whole tunnel, with an adjustable running speed from 0 to 8 m/s to meet diverse requirements of diverse modes. It also supports sharp turns, incline climbing, and path planning for straight/curved tracks. Combined with digital twin technology and 0-360 degree rotatable dual-spectrum gimbal and environmental detection and analysis algorithms, it enables daily inspections, early fire, and overheating detection, abnormal alarms, emergency handling, identification of various types of traffic incidents in tunnels, and evidence collection. It also achieves tunnel structure health monitoring, and road icing alert, alongside the detection of gas, temperature, humidity, and ambient light.

This robot has a sandwich design with the core module centered and protected by shells on both sides. It can be customized with various materials, including carbon fiber composite, high-strength aluminum alloy, etc. It can be paired with functional modules such as fire extinguishing, emergency rescue, and mechanical arms for early-stage rescue assistance. Its rear door with a key lock obviates screw removal. Its sliding internal component board allows for simple maintenance without disassembling the entire unit. Its automatic lift reduces operational risks and cuts personnel maintenance costs and road closure hassles. This robot also supports wireless, contactless self-charging, reducing the high costs of electrified track employment.

This robot lowers the high cost of manual tunnel management. It can undertake operations within tunnels that are otherwise considered too dangerous for human entry, reducing the risks faced by rescue personnel and thereby decreasing casualties. The robot can also be used in enclosed spaces like underground parking lots, power rooms, smart factories, and power grid centers, enhancing safety and operational efficiency, decreasing the high costs of manual management, and further advancing intelligent public safety management.
