The Auspicious Crane's Arrival-Swivel Cup represents a sophisticated swivelling cup featuring a dual-layer independent structure. This innovative design builds upon the Qing Dynasty's swivel cup, allowing the inner cup to be detached independently, enhancing the user experience through increased enjoyment, flexibility, and convenience.

The cup's dual-layer design consists of an inner and outer cup securely bonded via magnetic, facilitating easy assembly and disassembly. Furthermore, a bearing shaft is incorporated at the base of the cup cover, ensuring smooth rotation of the inner cup. This innovation preserves the interactive nature of the product while permitting users to customize their experience by quickly replacing inner and outer cups. Additionally, the design allows for straightforward disassembly and cleaning. The double-layered rotatable structure can also provide thermal insulation and heat dissipation functions according to the user's needs, achieving a harmonious balance between functionality and enjoyment.

In terms of aesthetic design, the inner cup features motifs inspired by the elegant and fluid imagery of the flying crane depicted in The Auspicious Cranes by Emperor Song Huizong. This is complemented by elements from Emperor Song Huizong's calligraphic works - 'The Auspicious Crane's Arrival' and 'Heavenly Blue Breaking Through the Clouds' - which infuse the piece with auspicious symbolism and a distinct Eastern essence. The outer cup seamlessly integrates ornamental window elements, producing a dynamic artistic effect that rotates the cup to switch among different pictures through its hollow design, reflecting the allure of traditional culture and offering a distinctive user experience. Concerning materials and craftsmanship, the cup incorporates the ice crack pattern characteristic of the Southern Song Dynasty official kiln, utilizing zinc alloy with a colour process (new enamel) and gold wire to outline the ice crack pattern. This results in a simple and refined design, exuding luxury and elegance. The inner cup is fashioned from Ru porcelain of the Song Dynasty, featuring a warm glaze that provides a delicate tactile experience. Additionally, the cups are adorned in the traditional Chinese azure colour, presenting a visually appealing aesthetic that embodies the charm of the Song Dynasty.
