As a resettlement housing project in the urban renewal of Anji's old urban area, this project is a typical low-cost housing project. However, low cost doesn't mean low quality. The design team set the goal of building high-quality low-cost residences at the early stage of design and has been constantly moving forward in this seemingly contradictory goal.

The design fully takes into account the living habits, cultural backgrounds, and folk traditions of the residents in the resettlement housing. Instead of adopting the barracks-style building layout, a layout pattern of clustered enclosures has been applied to enhance a sense of intimacy and provide more interactive spaces, enabling them to find a sense of belonging in the new space.

When entering the community, the drop-off lobby adopts a hotel-style design, with multi-functional areas such as a rest area and a one-stop service area arranged. The water features, paved paths, and surrounding green plants add a sense of ritual for returning home, creating an image space that is magnificent, textured, and warm.

People and vehicles are separated when entering the community while pedestrian and vehicle traffic are through the ground and underground. And the 4,500m2 enclosed atrium garden provides diverse interactive places for mutual communication and enjoyable sports. By using large lawns which is relatively low-cost, a high-quality outdoor interactive experience is created, retaining the mutual connections among the residents of the original villages.

In terms of product selection, the Liu'an Series products of Greentown are adopted while is featured by the asymmetrical building facade. The simple horizontal lines convey the delicacy of the building details, continuing the trend of the classic high-grade gray and public building-style facades. Through changes in color tones, the distance relationship with the urban core area can be better reflected. Through asymmetrical means and changes in color tones, the cheap feeling of the low-cost exterior facades is weakened, and the overall quality sense of the exterior facades is enhanced.
