Timeless Grove is a transformative eco-park project on the site of the former Nanjing Watch Factory, aimed at creating a sustainable and communal public space for the city's residents.

As a historical industrial landmark, the Nanjing Watch Factory encapsulates a significant part of Nanjing's city memory and critically needs restoration to address various environmental challenges. The project strategically preserves elements of the clock factory as vital instruments for historical education while incorporating contemporary eco-design principles to foster a vibrant green space for the local community.

Innovatively, this project introduces advanced intelligent technology, thereby expanding the leisure and aesthetic functions traditionally associated with parks into an integrated ecosystem that combines education, culture, interaction, and personalized experiences. A notable feature is the "Carbon Points System," which incentivizes residents to engage in environmentally friendly behaviours—such as jogging or sorting waste—by allowing them to accumulate points redeemed for supermarket vouchers and additional benefits. This system aims to enhance environmental consciousness among residents while providing a tangible sense of the positive impact of their actions on the environment.

Utilizing AR and data-driven technology, visitors can scan QR codes located on plants and park facilities to access comprehensive information regarding botanical knowledge and environmental statistics. This feature significantly augments the educational role of the park while offering personalized activity recommendations, thus enriching the interactive experience for users.

To accommodate the diverse needs of residents across various age demographics, the accompanying app fosters meaningful interactions by establishing integrated tasks designed for parent-child engagement in greening activities. Furthermore, it includes a voice guidance function to assist elderly users in navigating app features with ease. The application employs a card-based modular design for its park overview, activity reservation, and other functional areas, ensuring a clear and intuitive layout that enables users to efficiently locate pertinent information.
