Wabi-Sabi - a gesture of calm and natural beauty in imperfection and simplicity by time.

Residence - a home where you stay or live.

We present a Japanese aesthetic philosophy and a blessing to the property owners as they spend their precious lifetime.

We installed ample storage cabinetry in the project to satisfy the homeowner's needs.

With minimalist decorating approaches, eclectic materials, lines, and color palettes implement the perfect layouts and deliver an elegant and subtle atmosphere. In addition, we adopted our brand concept to the project by incorporating low-formaldehyde building materials, brilliantly accomplishing a safe and healthy living environment for the residents and their pets.

Firstly, we built a vast public space by removing a wall against the study room. Then, we re-arranged the bedrooms at the bottom of the hallway to avoid disturbing noise from the shared areas and shaped a tranquil private space. At the same time, we revamped the partition wall between the master bedroom and the children’s room to enlarge the walk-in closet of the main room, which contains a vanity and ample storage cabinetry.

With white and gray as the dominant colors, the project has a Wabi-Sabi style that the homeowners favor. The subtle veining of ceiling decorative coating and fair-face concrete flooring set off a worn-out accent TV wall, and the pristine textures reveal a peaceful feel. Adding balmy wooden elements and a pink-purple sofa, it is a focal point that infuses a soft ambiance and relieves the coldness.

In response to keeping pet cats, we opt for mar-resistant laminate panels to set up the cabinets. Moreover, we arrange cat paths through the kitchen cabinets for them to shuttle among and install open shelves in the study room to serve as jumping platforms. Besides benefiting a cat’s playground, the asymmetrical shelving delivers the aesthetics of a Wabi-Sabi charm.

We adopted white cabinetry and a porcelain slab table to harmonize the gray palette from floor to ceiling. Double asymmetrical circular pendant lights bring an appealing touch to dining.
