Located in subtropical Taiwan, 21 Urban flagship store, designed by 757 Studio, boasts local postmodern and contemporary architectural elements. Well-ventilated open spaces and warm wood accents create a light and natural ambiance within the store.

As a flagship store that sells custom furniture and lighting fixtures, 21 Urban explores the dynamic interaction between light and space. The store focuses on making lighting an essential part of the living space. Lights with adjustable color temperatures allow people to fine-tune the lighting to suit their needs. By layering the lighting, one can also create different moods and atmospheres depending on the time of day or the occasion.

Reclaimed wood is the primary material used in 21 Urban's furniture, highlighting its commitment to sustainability and eco-conscious design. Hand-polished wooden shelves and display racks, paired with brass sinks and subtle details, create a warm yet refined visual balance. Curved timber is achieved through CNC machining. The wooden arches in the space age wonderfully well and mature over time due to oxidation, which is the natural process that wood undergoes as time goes by. This transformation reflects 21 Urban’s deep appreciation for the passage of time and meticulous attention to detail.

By incorporating local architectural styles, sustainable materials, and craftsmanship, the interior design achieves a minimal yet elegant aesthetic that aligns with the brand identity of 21 Urban while responding to Taiwan’s tropical climate and culture.
