About The Entry

This project caters to the diverse needs of families in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, transforming the original hot spring center into a comprehensive, all-season, all-age, and multi-sensory water entertainment complex—the first of its kind in China. Centered around the narrative of interstellar adventure + natural ecology + tech interactivity, it integrates water-based recreation, family bonding, and themed leisure across a 12,000㎡ space, creating a multidimensional, interactive family experience that fulfills one-stop entertainment and consumption needs.

The design strategy revolves around spatial reconfiguration and thematic storytelling. The first floor focuses on the water entertainment theme, featuring immersive installations like Meteor Shower Springs, shuttle-style slides, and a Tempest Experience Pool, engaging touch, sight, and physical sensation to create lasting memories. The children’s water castle includes interactive fountains and age-specific pathways, balancing safety with fun. Outdoors, the former hot spring area is reimagined as a Mediterranean-inspired courtyard, blending lawns and water mist curtains to craft an immersive social ambiance that transitions seamlessly from day to night. The second floor emphasizes parent-child interaction and light socializing, with trendy board game rooms and DIY fruit dessert stations. The third floor, themed around a Time Train, cleverly connects a playful soft play area with a tranquil SPA zone, forming an energy loop where parents relax while children explore.

While preserving 70% of the original structure, the project incorporates smart technology and sustainable strategies to reduce operational costs. The upgraded water circulation system doubles as a landscape feature with variable-frequency temperature control, boosting energy efficiency by 40%. Intelligent monitoring optimizes crowd flow and energy consumption for dynamic, eco-friendly management.

Driven by scene activation + experiential innovation, the project introduces unique offerings like indoor-outdoor shuttle slides and climate-simulated hot springs, filling a gap in the regional market. It redefines family leisure spaces with fresh functional experiences and commercial value.
