“94 Hi! Look!” is an innovative multi-functional space that combines a supermarket, a single-person yakiniku restaurant and a coffee bar. The brand's core values are "freshness, quality, trend". The design inspiration is derived from the shopping and dining format of Tsukiji Market in Japan, responding to the expectations of modern consumers for interactive experiences. This project is a close corporation with the visual design team, maintaining brand consistency from the graphic identification to the space planning.
The exterior of the building extends the red and black contrast of the brand's CIS system, symbolizing the texture of Japanese lacquerware and charcoal-fired cuisine, providing a distinct street scene identification. The interior uses wood and warm light to create a delicate layering effect, dividing the space into two core areas - a supermarket and a yakiniku restaurant - optimizing the display quality and planning a smooth moving line.
This project breaks away from the traditional framework of a yakiniku restaurant, introducing cultural translation and the reconfiguration of the spatial form, and demonstrating a high degree of integration and innovation of space.
The interior uses a large area of wood grain materials, combined with matte metal, to form the dark background with soft blur edges, and wooden ceiling combined with warm light, shaping a warm texture. Especially in the single-person yakiniku area, it provides an assured and private space. The supermarket area also balances the different colors of goods through wood grain. At the same time, the green plants echo the feature of Yuanlin as a major flower town.
