Drawing inspiration from the timeless fairy tale “Snow White,” this project reimagines its narrative within a contemporary framework. The design unfolds as the story of a modern woman—one who no longer waits for a prince, but instead crowns herself as a powerful queen. Nevertheless, she still seeks her own “forest,” a serene sanctuary where she can lower her guard and bask in sunlight.

Upon entry, the black radial patterns on the door evoke the threshold between reality and illusion, immediately setting a tone of transformation. Underfoot, dark stone slabs symbolize the queen’s resolute steps into the outside world, while a curved wall textured like tree bark envelops the space in an enchanting, forest-like ambiance. Seamlessly integrated into this narrative, a concealed wardrobe and a sleek stainless-steel island—serving as both dining table and bar—define the heart of the dining and kitchen area.

Suspended above, golden brass chandeliers reminiscent of the Seven Dwarfs’ hats allude to the queen’s command over her domain. In contrast, behind the dining table, European-style carved moldings paired with gleaming mirrors reflect not only the elegance of the space but also the competitive dynamics of society. Each day, she confronts her reflection and poses the fundamental question: "Am I strong enough now?" This poignant moment of self-discovery underscores her determination and resilience in the face of societal challenges.

Leading into the living room, a striking black grille door elegantly connects to the bathroom, seamlessly harmonizing with the marble TV wall and the chic display cabinet. Nestled within this artistic entryway is an apple-shaped metal handle that intriguingly reinterprets the classic symbolism of the fairy tale's apple: rather than representing poison, it serves as a key to redemption, inviting one to return to a serene state of mind. The tree branch relief on the back wall of the sofa further enhances the atmosphere, evoking the tranquil embrace of a forest. Transitioning to the bedroom, you are greeted by thoughtfully designed lift-up cabinets situated above the bed, alongside transparent storage units that facilitate comprehensive organization while maintaining an airy feel.
