Leveraging the systematic integration of shapes, colors, and materials, the packaging for ALAL Shampoo Series reinterprets Eastern aesthetics through modern design, not only embodying profound cultural significance but also reflecting the brand’s core philosophy of ‘Inheritance of Eastern Herbal Wisdom’.

Inspired by ‘circle’—a symbol of completeness, inclusiveness, and harmony in traditional Chinese culture—the packaging incorporates the element throughout the whole design. As the result, both the cap and the body feature soft, rounded contours, presenting a gentle, balanced style. At the same time, the bottle innovatively integrates the ridges of traditional Chinese buildings and the drop-shoulder style of the qipao (a traditional Chinese dress), leading to a meticulously angled shoulder structure. This imbues the minimalist, modern cylindrical silhouette with an implicit and elegant Eastern aesthetic.

Moreover, the vertically arranged text on the bottle resembles the layout common in traditional Chinese handscrolls to clearly display herbal ingredients, suggesting the product’s professionalism and scientific credibility. In terms of color selection, the pump head utilizes vermilion red derived from the Forbidden City, conveying the auspicious meaning of ‘great luck at hand’ and significantly improving brand recognition; beige as the main color creates a clean and soothing atmosphere, while red dots as accents further highlight Eastern charm.

As for material selection, the bottle adopts a smooth matte material, giving a skin-like touch to offer users a comfortable experience; the outer box is crafted from raw wood pulp paper without coatings, whose rough, textured surface evokes the association with natural herbs, encouraging users to return to nature and authenticity.
