The Ordos International Hot Spring Resort Hotel is envisioned as a landmark destination in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, integrating leisure tourism, healthcare, luxury residences, and water recreation into a single commercial complex. With a total construction area of 191,000 square meters and a height of 118 meters, the project embodies both scale and ambition, aiming to redefine luxury hospitality in the region.

Positioned as a high-end business and leisure resort, the hotel adopts a modern luxury aesthetic while embracing the philosophy that architecture and interiors are part of nature. The design emphasizes a harmonious coexistence between built form and environment, weaving natural light, greenery, and water into spaces that balance comfort, function, and beauty.

Rooted in the local landscape and cultural heritage, the design expresses vitality and balance through the interplay of stillness and motion. The serene luxury of the lobby contrasts with the dynamic energy of the water park, echoing the yin-yang balance in traditional Chinese thought. Water is celebrated as a symbol of life and prosperity, while diamond-inspired motifs convey strength and brilliance, infusing the project with symbolism and vitality.

The lobby’s diamond-cut crystal installations embody purity and eternity, while garden-inspired techniques such as “framed” and “borrowed” views create layered spatial experiences. In areas lacking daylight, skylight systems and indoor landscaping bring a natural rhythm into the interiors. The underground spa, once a challenge due to its enclosed nature, is transformed into a tranquil retreat by simulated daylight and lush plantings.

Material innovation further defines the project: crystals, luxury stones, mosaics, and photoelectric glass screens enrich the sensory experience while embedding cultural meaning. These choices establish a unique language of contemporary luxury.

The project integrates green space, natural ventilation, and energy-efficient systems to reduce environmental impact while enhancing guest well-being. With extensive landscaping and eco-friendly materials, the hotel achieves harmony between architecture and nature, embodying modern sustainable values.

By blending cultural resonance, innovative design, and ecological responsibility, the Ordos International Hot Spring Resort Hotel sets a new benchmark for destination resorts in Inner Mongolia.
