The 2025 Taoyuan Lotus Festival, themed “Lotus Paradise,” transforms the Guanyin LotusPark Leisure Agriculture Area into a living park where nature itself becomes the stage. The festival blends lotus appreciation, art installations, and agri-food experiences, creating a holistic journey of flowers, culture, and slow living. 18 nearby farms, gardens, and homestays are connected through a curated “lotus trail,” offering visitors opportunities for floral sightseeing, culinary discovery, and cultural exploration. From large-scale art installations and hands-on workshops to slow-food banquets, each program narrates the story of the land through the poise and elegance of flowers.

Rooted in the spirit of sustainability and locality, the curatorial framework introduces 5 landscape art installations that merge education and recreation. Among them, “Melody of the Lotus” explores the resonance between music and nature—its bow-shaped forms evoke the harmony between humans and the environment, immersing visitors in a tranquil, poetic lotus pond experience.

Meanwhile, “Summer Lotus Breeze” draws inspiration from lotus leaves and watermelons, using playful proportions and saturated hues to highlight the region’s signature crops and the refreshing vitality of rural life.
