Located in the core CBD of Changsha with a total area of approximately 2,000 square meters, Base Camp In ChangSha—COMYA Story First Class is a composite leisure space integrating foot reflexology, SPA, dining, tea service, and ear cleaning.

The layout eschews the conventional stacking of formats in favor of clear zoning and circulation for an immersive experience: the foot reflexology and SPA zones are independent, and the SPA area notably features exclusive female-only rooms to reinforce privacy and a sense of security. Meanwhile, the public area integrates waiting, tea drinking, reception, and cashier functions into a continuous interface, blurring the boundaries of the service counter to render the space more open and fluid. In terms of color strategy, corridors and operational areas adopt a low-saturation gray system, breaking away from the industry's common logic of warm decoration; this restrained tone creates a sense of ritual, allowing the space to serve as a background rather than the protagonist. Inside the guest rooms, sloped ceilings leverage the existing height to enhance vertical openness and subtly echo traditional Hunan roof forms, evoking familiar spatial memories through proportion, material, and light. The "five senses" experience is systematically incorporated into the design considerations: hidden aroma diffusers are embedded in the ceiling every 6 to 8 meters, pairing with a custom fragrance system to form subtle olfactory guidance without disturbing visual purity. The dining area establishes visual anchors through "Hunan Red" color blocks and colonnade elements derived from Chaozhou’s Paifang Street, forming a cross-sensory correspondence with the menu that highlights Hunan beef rice noodles and Chaozhou beef hotpot. Furthermore, dining is not treated merely as an accessory here but is professionally designed as an independent brand, "Xiangzhu Xiangchao," with kitchen workflows, dining scales, and service lines configured to professional standards to achieve functional upgrades and expand the customer base.

Ultimately, the overall design rejects spectacle-driven expression, returning to the order, texture, and human warmth of the space itself, attempting to provide a "daily place" with a sense of belonging amidst the homogenization of service formats.
