As the designer of the Huaian Phoenix Mansion, HWCD situates the project on the southern bank of the ancient Huaihe River in Qingjiangpu District, engaging in a dialogue with Huai'an's profound heritage through a global perspective. Here, the oriental artistic conception inherent in Shanghai-style culture converges with Western aesthetics, while art, nature, and daily life resonate harmoniously, transforming the space into an extension of sensory perception. Guided by the philosophy of "micro-space," the boundary between architecture and nature is redefined. Light, flowing water, and greenery permeate the space's texture, creating a seamless flow between interior and exterior—an echo of the interwoven and enduring river culture of Huai'an.
