The spatial atmosphere focuses on “soft whites and lights,” exploiting large-scale pale volumes and matte textures to evoke a calm, misty morning spread. Sharp corners are replaced with flowing curves, allowing walls, cabinetry, and transitions to blend seamlessly with a sense of weightlessness under the play of light. This white-on-white palette creates subtle tonal layers through natural shadows, adding gentle depth to the minimalist backdrop. Following the principle of “recession,” storage and technical equipment are integrated into the facades, maintaining a smooth rhythm between movement, relaxation, and connection. Ultimately, light, curves, and clean interfaces blend into a harmonious scene, forming a harmonious stage that supports the daily lives of both owners and pets.
The project features a clear central axis connecting the entryway, public space, and private bedrooms. White vertical surfaces help blur boundaries while maintaining order within the large open plan. Flush-front designs, handle-less details, and hidden storage integrate household and pet essentials into the walls, avoiding visual clutter. Large-format floor tiles make cleaning easy, and choose stain-resistant materials for the kitchen and work surfaces to reduce daily upkeep. All transitions are smooth with rounded edges, and a threshold-free continuous flooring system ensures safe passage for people and pets at every stage of life. Natural light sets the mood, complemented by soft ambient lighting, creating a calm environment for work, relaxation, and social interaction.
Rooted in sustainable design thinking, the designer planned the space to reduce replacement and extend lifecycle utility." From the outset, we opted for durable, wear-resistant, and low-maintenance materials to minimize replacement demand caused by wear and tear. The layout and furniture arrangements are inherently flexible, with pre-planned utility routing that allows for future adjustments across different life stages without major structural changes. At the same time, pet-friendly circulation, safety-minded rounded corners, and durable materials not only enhance daily safety but also reduce the risk of unexpected damage. This restrained yet precise design approach demonstrates a long-term commitment to environmental responsibility, spatial longevity, and the residents' bliss.
