Inspired by the resilience of female entrepreneurs, this jewelry collection (Ring, Earrings, Necklace) utilizes the metaphor of "a lotus blooming from the mud." The core design philosophy centers on "harmonizing individuality with conformity" and "rebirth through adversity." It visualizes the lotus's journey—internally hidden yet externally blossoming—as a reflection of women maintaining their self-identity while navigating multifaceted societal roles.
This work transcends traditional static ornamentation by incorporating interactive kinetic mechanisms that offer emotional value and stress relief:
Transformable Necklace: The pendant features a unique mechanical switch. When closed (the bud), it hangs in a natural "S" curve; when opened (the bloom), it expands into a "Y" shape, simulating the dynamic process of a flower blossoming.
Rotatable Structure: The inner petals of the ring and earrings are engineered to rotate. This tactile interaction adds a playful element and serves as a fidget feature to soothe emotions under pressure, deepening the connection between the user and the object.
Crafted entirely from S925 Sterling Silver, the design employs a hand-brushed finish to create a gritty texture reminiscent of silt, contrasting sharply with the smooth luster of the blooming petals. A Red Spinel is set at the pistil, symbolizing a resilient heart. The designer’s signature, "SY," is subtly integrated into the stem, serving as both structural support and the "soul" of the piece.
The execution combines digital precision with artisanal craftsmanship. The project evolved from hand-sketching and 3D modeling to molding and hand-finishing between August and October 2025. The necklace (4g, 45+5cm chain) and earrings (2.6g/pair) are engineered to balance mechanical precision with lightweight ergonomics, ensuring maximum wearing comfort.
Targeting independent professional women aged 25-45 and collectors of cultural aesthetics, the collection has secured national copyright registration. By blending deep urban cultural heritage with unique emotional interaction, the work has garnered positive feedback in the cultural tourism market, successfully elevating jewelry from a mere accessory to a vessel of spiritual strength.
