This project concerns the planning of a new single-story residence with an interior area of approximately 125 square meters.
The core design language throughout the residence revolves around reimagining a hotel-like grandeur within the raw, unfinished boundaries. Boldly breaking free from traditional partition constraints allows natural light to flow freely. Carefully curated minimalist cabinetry defines living dimensions while thoughtfully preserving visual and spatial breathing room, shaping an expansive, luminous public area.
Large-scale color blocks and contrasting materials compose the spatial rhythm. The living room's TV wall features a gray mineral-based coating as its base, echoing the lush greenery of the front balcony. A semi-circular wooden curtain box softens spatial divisions, gently linking light wood-grain doors, dark gold-trimmed grilles, and deep brown large-format tiles extending into the dining area. On the opposite side, traditional cabinetry is replaced by a mirrored surface paired with light gray double-hanging tiles. Rounded corners at the wall edges create a meticulously crafted focal point while imparting a refined and serene presence to the residence.
Entering the private domain, storage functionality transforms into a meticulously orchestrated layout. Precisely calculated panel divisions create orderly, layered lines on the master bedroom's feature wall, grilles, and cabinetry—accommodating daily routines while avoiding the oppressive feel of excessive storage. The same thoughtful approach extends to the children's rooms. Cabinets feature a harmonious mix of frosted milk white and beige finishes, paired with gray fabric-textured and creamy wood-grain doors. This selection preserves a warm tactile quality while seamlessly integrating wardrobes, bookshelves, desks, and beds into the space, allowing functionality to blend effortlessly with aesthetics.
