The visual language of travel planning has never matched the richness of travel itself. Most platforms present lists, filters, and grids — interfaces built for transactions, not for wanderers. WAYRA was designed by Elinext as a departure from that convention: a digital environment where planning a journey feels as evocative as taking one.

The design system is built around a deliberate tension between refinement and atmosphere: Playfair Display for editorial headlines, Outfit for precise UI copy, and an earth-toned palette — deep midnight ink, warm sand, terracotta, and burnished gold that references cartography, aged maps, and the tactile pleasure of travel itself.

The onboarding screen pairs an interactive preference quiz with a live map that begins generating the user's route in real time as selections are made — collapsing the distance between input and output into a single satisfying moment. Floating pin cards, a dashed gold route path, and topographic line art create a sense of place before the journey has even begun.

The dashboard is structured as a command center: a fixed sidebar with budget ring gauge, scrollable day cards with left-edge accent bars and color-coded type tags, and an AI insight block that surfaces optimization suggestions in a warm amber tinted panel. The map area layers grid lines, dot patterns, ambient radial glows, and animated pulse rings on active stops — creating depth without noise.

The day detail screen shifts the palette to warm cream, using a dark ink header with an elliptical clip-path cutout to bridge the two environments. Activity cards use gradient image areas specific to each stop's character, with badge overlays for AI-selected recommendations.

Across all five screens — onboarding, dashboard, day detail, AI recommendations, and mobile — a grain texture overlay, custom cursor with animated ring, and consistent use of glassmorphism maintain a cohesive, immersive visual world.
