The 2025 Hsinchu Christmas Festival, themed “Light × Technology × Fairy Tales,” links Hsinchu Railway Station, Hsinchu East Gate (Yingxi Gate), and Hsinchu Moat Park, transforming the historic city into a vibrant festive landscape infused with the spirit of Christmas.

At the heart of this year’s festival is a projection mapping show on the century-old Hsinchu Train Station, which integrates the city’s collective memory, cultural identity, and festive spirit. Complementing this is the main installation, “Tree of Dreams,” a 10-meter-tall structure embedded with LED panels.

The riverside is illuminated by interconnected string lights that weave through the surrounding streets, accompanied by themed installations such as the “Dream Journey Train” and the “Dreamscape Portal.” Centered on themes of dreams, journeys, and exploration, these works use layers of light, materials, and color to create an immersive and imaginative festive environment.
