Traditional ecological popular science exhibitions rely on static pictures and videos, which are boring, abstract, and difficult for children to understand. Lacking parent-child interactive scenarios, they fail to establish effective environmental awareness for young audiences.

This parent-child ecological exhibition experience design focuses on children’s cognitive characteristics, creating a progressive immersive popular science journey. The design combines desktop interactive devices, dome projection, parent-child collaborative games, and Q-version cultural and creative derivatives. It guides children to gradually explore beaver habitats, living habits and ecological knowledge through multiple sensory experiences.

Different from single viewing modes, the project emphasizes parent-child cooperation. Interactive gameplay simulates real beaver behaviors such as foraging and dam-building, allowing parents and children to complete ecological exploration together, strengthening communication and improving children’s knowledge memory in entertainment.

The whole experience forms a complete closed loop of “visiting, learning and remembering”. Child-friendly visual design and delicate cultural creation output help children naturally build awareness of ecological protection and harmonious coexistence with nature.

With flexible scalability, this exhibition experience mode can be applied to science popular science venues, ecological exhibition halls and parent-child public education spaces, providing an innovative and replicable solution for children’s ecological popular science experience design.
