About The Entry

Located in the commercial cluster of Jiangmen Aoyuan Bund, Guangdong Province, this project integrates foreign trade exchange with private fine dining. Adopting a design philosophy that blends modernism with traditional Chinese aesthetics, the space revolves around the core theme of western temperament rooted in oriental charm. Following the culinary narrative, it inherits the etiquette and grace of traditional Chinese culture, interpreting refined spatial aesthetics through the interplay of dynamic and tranquil layouts.

Rooted in traditional Chinese spatial culture, the design follows the ancient oriental philosophy of "heaven is round and earth is square" and absorbs distinctive Lingnan regional characteristics. Classic oriental design elements including mortise and tenon structures, traditional bucket arch eaves, blue-and-white porcelain patterns and elegant Song-style aesthetics are refined and reconstructed. The poetic oriental conception of harmony between human and nature is perfectly combined with retro textures and modern materials, reviving classical charm within contemporary spatial contexts. Western aesthetic language is also integrated into the overall layout. Drawing on the dome architectural logic of European manors and castles, the design regards the dome as heaven and dining tables as the banquet ground. Abandoning ornate exaggerated relief decorations, it adopts streamlined simple arched vaults paired with soft diffused ambient lighting. With restrained and understated spatial expression, the venue allows guests to experience an immersive aesthetic journey across eras and cultures, delivering a unique dining experience that bridges eastern and western artistry.
