Located in the core area of Lingshan Island in Nansha, Guangzhou, this project sits alongside a scenic river bay and is surrounded by mature commercial amenities. Guided by the theme of “a garden of flowers, a wall of poetry,” it draws upon the essence of Haipai (Shanghai-style) culture, breaking the boundaries of conventional exhibition centers. The result is a microcosm of urban life that balances emotional warmth with artistic value.
In terms of spatial narrative, the project rejects traditional linear logic in favor of a vertical layered layout that seamlessly transitions from “public” to “private.” The first floor establishes a highly inclusive public domain, featuring a spacious reception hall, a water bar, and negotiation areas. This allows guests to instantly feel the roominess and warmth of the space upon entering. The third floor is designated as a premium private zone tailored for deep socializing, offering a private dining room, a tea room, and a viewing terrace. This ingenious vertical circulation not only gracefully orchestrates the flow of guests but also guides them on a natural transition from open social interactions to intimate conversations—delivering an escalating sense of exclusivity.
In terms of aesthetic expression, the project brings “Haipai culture” and “Jiangnan poetic aesthetics” to life through the subtle interplay of materials, lighting, and soft furnishings. It uses white latex paint and artistic paint as the canvas, complemented by dark stone, wood-grain floor tiles, and glossy bronze-colored stainless steel, exuding both calmness and refinement. Moreover, the incorporation of soft furnishings—including the classic Murano chandelier and unique flower-inspired resin coffee table—further infuses the space with a vibrant artistic energy. In addition, multi-layer greenery softens the architectural boundaries, creating a poetic atmosphere of “a garden of flowers.”
