Following the essence of life, being dedicated to what one loves and chooses is the path to finding a "home." It is not just a place to shelter the body from the elements but also a tranquil sanctuary for the soul, a place where it can find solace and healing after the wounds of life.



This single-person small residence in Kaohsiung was planned with the homeowner's vision of "home" at its core. By deeply understanding the user's aspirations for a home on both a spiritual and practical level, the design was tailored to create a comfortable and uniquely soothing living space that perfectly suited the homeowner's needs.



The large, light gray accent wall in the living room sets a simple and refined tone for the public area. The minimalist wall, devoid of unnecessary decorations, enhances the visual impact of the 70-inch display. The combination of the comfortable blue sofa, wood-patterned flooring, and furniture adds a touch of warmth to the cool gray and white environment. This atmosphere is ideal for the homeowner, who loves movies and music, providing a space for immersing themselves in cinematic and musical experiences.



The accessories design in the public area also incorporates many ingenious elements. Precisely proportioned metallic storage cabinets, wall divisions, and the incorporation of curved elements in the corners all combine to create a more enriched sense of depth within the interior space.

The art gallery connecting the public and private areas is enhanced by wooden lattice panels, indirect lighting, and a constantly rotating collection of movie posters. These elements reinforce the unique spatial identity belonging to the homeowner.



In contrast to the minimalist gray tones in the public areas, the private spaces showcase a more vibrant and bold color palette. This emphasizes the stress-free nature of this small space, where one can simply be themselves and enjoy their freedom. The recurring presence of the FARMER BOB Boyfriend Series collection throughout the residence represents the small souls of the home, embodies the ideal home achieved by the homeowner and the designer together.
