Clouds and Sun

About The Entry

Its name comes from a line in Chinese poet Xie Tiao's “Ascending to the Lonely Island in the River”, which reads, “The clouds and the sun reflect each other, and the air and the water are clear and fresh together”. The white, bright, rounded space is like being in a cloud. The owner is a young woman under the age of 30. As a successful self-media worker, the owner has demonstrated the characteristics of an independent worker from the conceptualization to the construction design. She firstly gave the designer a great sense of trust, and at the same time, she told her what she wanted. This collision of sparks allowed the designer to give the owner more ideal details.

The designers put the owner's gentle yet independent character into the design of the curtain box. The storage cabinet and the wall are not a traditional arc, their shape between hard and soft like the owner to the designer's feeling. Adapting to the unique temperament of the residents, the project seeks harmony and balance between timelessness and modernity.
