Four Points by Sheraton Wuhan Optical Valley is situated in the vibrant center of Optics Valley, recognized as the tech hub of central China. The fundamental principle guiding the hotel design is to “make guests feel at home”. Embracing a modern industrial style, the design team handily combines industrial metal elements with wooden features, incorporate modern retro furnishings and blue textured carpets to foster a delicate and artistic ambiance. The lobby exhibits a striking arrangement of black, white, and grey marble inlay at its center, complemented by richly textured beige modular panels and metal mesh screens disposed on both sides of the void area. Deconstructed wooden walls at the far end contribute to a modern industrial and comfortable space. The two-story ceiling design enhances the spatial hierarchy of the lobby, so the entire space is perceived wide-open and majestic. The reception area features a dark gray-blue industrial retro wood veneer shelf as its backdrop, which elegantly captures the distinctive essence of the Four Points Brand.

The interior design of a guest room maintains a cohesive industrial style, evident in elements such as the metal mesh structure in the restroom and various furniture pieces adorned with decorative metal accents, without compromising the warm and modern atmosphere. The blue wall tiles of the bathroom, arranged in a woven pattern, introduce a vibrant touch to the interior space, which further enriches the perceived space.

The all-day dining restaurant features a design that accents wooden elements alongside industrial metal mesh, complemented by blue handmade tiles, retro red tiles, and a combination of black and white tiles. This arrangement fosters a warm, rustic, and stimulating atmosphere. The inclusion of fruity green and bright yellow soft furnishings introduces a touch of relaxation and sophistication, seamlessly blending modern and vintage industrial styles.

The design team has diligently worked on the planning of the public spaces. In their innovative approach, they integrate the restaurant with a beer house, reinterpreting the “Play Beer Food Club” dining concept associated with the brand.
