Strata Nexus

Strata Nexus represents a conceptual design for a high-rise mixed-use conceptual design on Qingnian Rd. in Wuhan, China. This project integrates cultural, commercial, and office functions while exploring innovative strategies for urban rejuvenation through the design principle of 'intersection and dynamic dislocation between floors.' The development is flexibly partitioned into vertical spaces, with the ground floor designated as an open cultural and commercial area, the intermediate floor serving as a multi-functional exhibition space, and the upper floor designed as a highly efficient office environment. The introduction of modular design and green building technologies, including vertical greening and intelligent management systems, aims to balance functional versatility and environmental sustainability.



In its material selection, Strata Nexus prioritizes environmental responsibility and durability by utilizing recyclable materials such as steel, glass curtain walls, and eco-friendly concrete, minimizing waste and reducing resource dependency. The incorporation of low-E glass enhances thermal insulation and decreases energy consumption. Furthermore, the vertical greening system contributes to environmental sustainability by improving air quality and aesthetic appeal. Regarding safety measures, Strata Nexus employs a high-strength steel frame and advanced fire-resistant materials to ensure structural integrity and fire protection. The integration of intelligent systems, which include real-time surveillance, smart fire warning, and waterproof monitoring, significantly enhances overall safety.



The user experience is a fundamental design aspect, as Strata Nexus incorporates soft and fluid geometric curves complemented by natural, neutral tones and green vegetation.
