Nature Touch

The fast pace of life has become synonymous with modern society. Advances in technology have profoundly transformed the way we live, influencing our "choices" and "pursuits" in life. However, all the 「odds and ends」 flush away our passion in our life, forgotten the pure passion for living and the ability to 「self-talk」. This state is like a runaway train hurtling aimlessly along the tracks of reality. We need a "stop" to "start" realign our minds and bodies, Looking within rediscover the value of our self.



In this project, we choose tofu rock to be the building foundation, Tofu Rock is a large cluster of wave-dissipating blocks located on the Touqian River in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. Its immense size indirectly occupies a vast expanse of greenery, However, its presence is also indelible.



We use "choice" as the central theme. Through clever pathway planning, we integrate the scale of indoor spaces with the changes in the outdoor natural environment, encouraging people to explore different walking routes. The linear design, much like a film in motion, explores our self from the past and present, further enhancing sensory and emotional connections. This project's existence imparts a new mission to Tofu Rock, allowing individuals to engage in profound inner dialogues between space, nature, and themselves.
