In the year 2050, the Inland Empire has transformed into a vast logistics dominion, dominated by towering warehouses and an intricate automated delivery system. This highly automated realm serves as the heart of the transportation industry. Yet, within this mechanized expanse, humans strive to adapt and thrive in an environment no longer suited for habitation. They scavenge for resources amidst the industrial landscape. This film follows Howard, an ordinary man, as he embarks on an odyssey through the Inland Empire, continuing his own way of living within the monstrous industrial world.
