Traditional means bring challenges to elderly. Nitroglycerin tablets are taken under the tongue, but they are too small to be easily taken out and hold. Nitroglycerin spray is applied under the tongue, but the lack of strength, a symptom of the condition, makes it difficult for the elderly to aim the nozzle.
