The Timeless Poetry of Light Luxury – The Eternal Narrative of a Family Residence



Space carries the weight of family memories, and this project takes the concept of a "time vessel," reinterpreting the essence of luxury through contemporary design language. Within the 5,000-square-foot duplex, the designer sculpts vertical dimensions with an architectural mindset, where marble flooring spreads like ink wash landscapes, forming an eternal dialectic of "reason" and "emotion" with rose gold-titanium wall panels. As morning light penetrates through three-dimensional floral-patterned wall guards, time’s facets are reflected in the fine metal edges, transforming the space into a vessel of light that writes the living poetry of a four-member family.



The public space adopts a "gallery-style" layout, where curved sofas extend like sculptures toward the arched ceiling, visually spiraling around a crystal glass staircase. The original concrete beam structure is deliberately retained, allowing an interplay between new and old materials in the vertical dimension—modern rose gold mesh screens contrast with handcrafted Venetian plaster walls, symbolizing the coexistence of family heritage and contemporary spirit. In the private domain, Mondrian's geometric aesthetics are applied, with the daughter’s room featuring pink gradient floral panels, while the master bedroom uses grey-tone panels as its axis, combined with rose gold strips and wooden floors, creating a philosophical dimension through contrasting volumes.



This project breaks away from traditional light luxury frameworks, using "minimalist design" to distill the essence of space, quietly weaving an aesthetic ark that transcends time within the tension between titanium metal and natural stone, and the rhythmic turns of curved and straight lines.
